9th March 2009 - Annual Parish Meeting to be followed by full Council Meeting

9th November 2009

All meetings are held at Hockliffe Lower School, Woburn Road, Hockliffe.

Meetings commence at 7.30pm, and the first 15 minutes members of the Public are invited to address the Council, which gives opportunity for members of the public to raise issues or comments on items to be discussed by councillors. Matters raised in the public session should be put on a future agenda for Council discussion.

Copies of the Agenda are posted in Hockliffe Post Office, Watling Street at least 3 clear days before any meeting.

*Annual Parish Meeting*

This is a meeting of the electorate, not of the Council. The Chairman of the Parish Council would chair the meeting. The meeting should review activities in the Parish over the previous year. It is hoped as many people as possible attend these meetings.

*Annual Council Meeting*

This meeting must be held in May, or within 14 days of councillors taking office in an election year. The first business must be to elect a Chairman. Other standard business will be to e.g. appoint committees and representatives; review Standing Orders, Financial Regulations, Schedule of Meetings.
